High tea at the Nelly
Ditch the crowded malls and head to the Mount Nelson Hotel for the city’s best afternoon tea experience. Their high tea provides a selection of 30 different loose-leaf teas, all served in a glass teapot with an hourglass timer so you can ensure it draws to perfection. The grand piano tinkles in the background as you tuck into a buffet of sweet and savoury dishes, including cucumber sandwiches, smoked salmon grissini, Cape Malay foods, petit fours, cupcakes and scones.
Tea is served every afternoon between 14h30 and 17h30.
Book at least a day in advance.
